POLLUTION.
AIR POLLUTION:
The main culprit is carbon dioxide emissions which are the cause of the Earth's Atmosphere Overheating and causing GLOBAL WARMING. I have however dealt with this subject in my blog posting relating to Global Warming. WE SEEM TO IGNORE THIS THREAT AT OUR PERIL.
There are numerous noxious gases emitted by some factories, power stations and motor vehicles worldwide. Many of these gases have a deleterious effect on living creatures including human beings.
WATER POLLUTION:
Our rivers, land and sea are being polluted by liquid waste often containing dangerous chemicals which
are conveniently dumped by some factories, ships, power stations, businesses and ordinary people. The guilty parties should consider the potential damage their convenient dumping is doing to our environment and all forms of life such as plants, animals and other creatures. The relevant authorities which regulate or should be regulating this dumping of noxious substances should ensure that non compliance of dumping laws are enforced.
SOIL POLLUTION:
The owners of many factories, other business enterprises and some consumers are polluting our soil with noxious chemicals which pose a threat to others.
Various countries and municipal authorities have laws governing the disposal of noxious chemical substances and other waste that poses a threat or potential threat to living creatures including mankind. Report any violations of such laws to the relevant autiorities.
FOOD POLLUTION:
SOME Farmers spray their crops with chemicals to contain pests that attack the growing plants and fruit.
This however is an essential procedure in the hands of knowledgeable and diligent farmers to prevent crop degradation and loss.
However the consumer must be aware of this fact and he or she must therefore thoroughly wash all plant and fruit produce before consumption.
POLLUTION OF THE BODY
SOME People worldwide are polluting their bodies with all sorts of poisonous and dangerous substances. Herewith are a few of such substances:
Alcohol, Nicotine from smoking cigarettes, cigars, pipes or other contraptions, an assortment of drugs which are illegal and even prescriptive drugs which are not prescribed by a doctor for a specific purpose.
